What do first time buyers really think?

This week saw the release of our research asking first time buyers' for their thoughts about getting on the property ladder, and whether or not they will seek independent financial advice. A whopping four out of five people said they intend to be on the property ladder within the next year, and a huge 82% will be seeking advice before they make any mortgage decisions.

These figures have attracted a lot of attention in the media. We've had coverage from FTAdviser and Mortgage Introducer, both running articles based on our research. To read our full press release please click here.

First time buyer confidence is soaring - is there more demand for advice?

We've just carried out research showing confidence among first time buyers is high. The CML has also reported mortgage lending to first time buyers is at a seven-year high. Have you seen more first time buyers asking for your help? What do you think is having the biggest effect on this; i.e. Help to Buy, MMR, house prices etc.?
