Once upon a time people would say, 'I'll speak to my solicitor.' But is that traditional client relationship becoming a thing of the past?
We were surprised to find only 6 per cent of people in our latest poll used the same solicitor regularly. They were outnumbered by those who shopped around (15 per cent), using a variety of different ones, while a further 24 per cent had only needed legal advice once or twice. The remainder (a surprisingly large 56 per cent) had never hired a solicitor at all.
