Santander Asset Management UK becomes latest unbiased.co.uk sponsor

Unbiased.co.uk, the UK’s largest professional adviser search, has announced Santander Asset Management UK will join its list of sponsor companies.

Santander Asset Management UK will become part of unbiased.co.uk’s premium sponsor group, made up of industry providers, which all pledge support to both the adviser community and the value of promoting advice to consumers.

This week Santander Asset Management UK has launched a new range of risk-targeted Multi Manager Portfolios.  This new range, the Santander Atlas Portfolios, is available exclusively to intermediaries and sold only through platforms in the UK.  The range has clearly differentiated levels of risk to suit varying investor attitudes in the medium to long term.  Distribution Technology has independently risk profiled portfolios 3 to 7 on its 1-to-10 scale. Furthermore, the Santander Atlas Portfolio range has been benchmarked against funds across the UK by independent, financial research company, Defaqto, and has received a 5 Diamond Defaqto Rating for providing a well-balanced proposition across features and charges.

Since the start of 2013, unbiased.co.uk has seen a strong demand for whole of market advice, reporting an 18% increase in visitors to its ‘find an adviser’ search, year on year. Its latest consumer research reveals more than half (52%) of people in the UK believe they would benefit from seeking financial advice, presenting encouraging signs for advisers and their services amidst a changed advice-industry setting.
